JOSEPH SHOOK

1986 - WRESTLING
 
A 1953 & 1954 WPIAL and PIAA Champion, Joe wrestled for Indiana University in the Big Ten Conference and had one dual match loss in two years.

He coached Trinity High School from 1967 thru 1971 and again in 1975 thru 1980. His career record stands at 121-19-1, for a winning percentage of .867.
His teams won six section championships, four WPIAL championships (1970, 76, 77 & 79) and were PIAA Runners-up twice. He coached six PIAA champions and thirteen WPIAL individual champions.

Shook was selected Washington County "Coach of the Year" six times and PIAA "Coach of the Year" in 1970. He was inducted into the Pennsylvania Wrestling Hall of Fame in 1983.
