Malvin Podrasky, a native and
resident of Canonsburg, was a three-time WPIAL wrestling champion and
two-time PIAA champion while representing Canonsburg High School from
1939 - 1941.
Podrasky never lost a dual match in the heavyweight division and lost
his only match as a freshman in the WPIAL tournament.
Canonsburg was undefeated in dual competition during Podrasky's four
years and several times he kept the streak going by pinning his opponent
in the heavyweight match.
