For more than half a century, Joe
Getto devoted his life to the youth of the Greater Bentleyville Area.
Under his leadership as President of the Bentleyville Boosters Club,
baseball fields were created, basketball courts were built, and an ice
rink was born.
Joseph Getto has deeply touched the lives of thousands of younger people
who have gone on to greatness. But equally important, Joseph Getto
inspired many adults to continue that wonderful work.
"No man stands so tall as when he stoops to pick up a child." If that
statement be true, Joseph Getto is a giant.
