Kolat is one of only nine scholastic
athletes to capture four PIAA wrestling championships. A native of Rices
Landing and a graduate of Jefferson-Morgan High School, where he had a
137-0 career record in wrestling, Kolat was a four-time NCAA All-America
and captured two NCAA titles while at Lock Haven.
Kolat has also won a national title and is a two-time medalist in the
World Championships. He is expected to compete in this year's Olympics
in September.
