In addition to winning the National Championship in 1960 the team score
of 1539 set a new National Record and was recognized as such by the
National Rifle Association.
A total of 1850 junior rifle teams nationwide participated in the 1960
National Junior Rifle competition.
The National Rifle Association named Washington, Pennsylvania "The
Capital of 22 Caliber Rifle Shooting in the United States" due to
countless number of National Championship Titles awarded to both
individuals and teams affiliated with "The Frazier Simplex Rifle Club."
