 112 lb winner for the WPIAL in the first Dapper Dan wrestling classic
in 1975

 PSAC Champion
 NAIA Champion: 1977, 1979
 Named Outstanding Wrestler in the 1979 NAIA tournament
 Six-time All-American at 118 lbs.
 Placed 4th at the NCAA Division I Nationals in 1979 for the
highest finish in Cal State’s history
 Division II national finalist in 1979 with a 67-0 dual meet record
 Selected as first alternate on the 1980 U.S. Olympic Freestyle Wrestling Team
 Silver Medalist at the 1976 Junior World Championships
 Inducted into the NAIA Hall of Fame in 1990
 Inducted into the first Cal State Hall of Fame class in 1995
 Head wrestling coach at Cal State from 1985 – 1988, coaching
