Meisel Award winner for Highest Academic Achievement • Member of West Virginia’s 100 year team – 1975 to 1978 • Fifth All-Time leading tackler: 432 (244 solo / 188 assisted) • Fourth All-Time season total tackles: 172 – 1977 • Second All-Time single game unassisted tackles: 17 vs. Boston College – 1976 • Recruited by the Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins and Seattle Seahawks prior to a knee injury • Jeff’s father, John, was a 2006 inductee into the Washington-Greene Chapter
