Swimming
• Six-time WPIAL champion in the 100 free and relays
• Anchored the 1978 PIAA 400 freestyle relay which set a WPIAL and won
the PIAA championship
• Ranked 10th nationally in 1978
• Achieved All-American status on six occasions
• Qualified for the NCAA National Championship four times while swimming
for Texas Arlington and West Virginia University
• Member of the 1979 WVU team that was 10-0, the only undefeated
swimming team in the history of the program
• Doctorate degree in Educational Psychology
• Peters Township Wall of Fame inductee – 2008
• Currently swimming with and coaching the Peters Township Masters
