Gilbert Floyd Jr. Tri-Valley High School - 1988 Washington & Jefferson College Football • All Conference football & basketball – German High School – 1986 • Herald Standard – All County Football – 1986 & 1987 • Tri-Valley Basketball Iron Man Award – 1987 • Big Ten All Conference football & basketball – 1987 • Recipient of the David Mallick Award - 1988 • 4 year letterman at W&J. • All-Presidents’ Athletic Conference honors all four years including a first team selection as a junior and senior. • Defensive MVP as a senior and Kodak All-American and Champion All-American in 1991. • Honored with the Hughes and Murphy Awards at W&J. • His last three teams advanced to the NCAA Division III playoffs. • Tied for career interception record with 15. • Inducted into W&J’s Athletic Hall of Fame.
